Colonial History: Andorra was not necessarily colonized, but it was ruled by both France and Spain simultaneously. There was a property quarrel over Andorra between the French heirs to the countship and the Spanish bishops, until Andorra gained its independence.
Major Attractions: The Town Of Les Escaldes (Les Escaldes, Andorra) – The town in Andorra gets its name from all the hot springs scattered around the community. It’s known for the high sulfur and nitrogen content, and the varying water temperatures. People use to use the water as a healing source in the past, so the town has some history in medicine.
