Colonial History: Bosnia and Herzegovina have not been specifically colonized, but were under the rule of the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century. It was then under the control of Austria-Hungary in 1828, before becoming a part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslav.
Major Attractions: Jahorina (Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina) –Joharina is the most loved ski field in Bosnia. Many hikers and snow lovers visit to see the Dinaric Alps. It’s also known for hosting the winter Olympics. Besides the slopes, you can also visit the caves nearby and the small town of Pale.
