In the Southern Europe region, the climate is very diverse. it contains humid oceanic, subtropical dry, semiarid, humid subtropical, highland and human continental. The climate type that takes up most of the region is the Mediterranean. It's also known as, "subtropical dry summer." Its mainly in the south by the coasts and goes a little in land. These areas experience weather changes and seasonal changes. In Spain, you can find small areas where it's semiarid. Those areas receive very little rain and are very dry due to that reason. In the areas that are humid oceanic, they have relatively cool summers and cool winters. There's also areas with humid subtropical climates. The weather is very extreme during summer and calmer during winter. During winter, it can feel cool or just have mild temperatures. During summer its very humid and hot. Not only does this region contain humid subtropical but it also contains humid continental. It's about the same as humid subtropical except that the winters can be extremely cold at times. Last but not least Southern Europe has the climate type highlands. It's only a small area with high elevation. As you can tell Southern Europe has many climate types and is diverse. This will definitely be a factor of what clothes, food, and even homes are like.
Bosnia doesn't receive a lot of precipitation. The precipitation tends to stay leveled throughout the year. The high temperatures are around 80 degrees. The low temperatures are around 20 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit which means they have cold winters.
Climate is affected in a major way by global warming. Global warming is caused by an overabundance of greenhouse gases that are emitted into the environment. The climate is affected by the elevation of each of the countries in Southern Europe. Since Southern Europe is so close to the coast line, many countries' climates are more elevated than those of countries that are more inland. Climate is very greatly affected by global warming, elevation, and location next to the sea.
